Bring Fluency MC to your school!
Rhyme On Time with Fluency MC is an English language workshop for students from primary school to university. It is managed in France and Belgium by Linguaid and in other countries by Gallery Languages. During the workshop, students practice English in a fun and stimulating way with Jason R. Levine, also known as Fluency MC. Jason performs and interacts directly with students using the songs and videos he has created specially for English learners.
The workshop is highly motivating. It gets students excited to practice English and helps them build the communicative skills they need to become accurate and fluent speakers. It also makes it easier for them to remember vocabulary and difficult features of grammar and pronunciation.
Rhyme On Time also develops students’ confidence. They feel more comfortable using English. As a result, they learn faster and more effectively. And they are more likely to seek opportunities to practice English outside the classroom.
Before a Rhyme On Time workshop, teachers can share Fluency MC videos and song lyrics with their students. And after the event, students can continue to use the materials as well as follow and chat with Jason in social media.
Over the past three years, Rhyme On Time has met with great success in 14 countries in Europe, Africa, and the Americas. The workshop has attracted the attention of both local and international media. Over the next year more than 100 workshops have been scheduled at schools worldwide.
In the workshop, Jason uses slides and video to engage students and get them comfortable with the language. He makes sure everyone understands the activities, feels included, and has fun! Students also have the opportunity to ask Jason questions and perform with him on stage.
The Rhyme On Time workshop is 90 minutes long.
There are workshops for:
- beginning to intermediate level students
- intermediate to advanced students
- primary school students
- secondary school students
- university students
Your school needs to provide:
- a large classroom or theater
- a projector and a screen
- an audio system
You receive the lyrics of the songs before the workshop. You can print and practice with them if you like, but it isn’t necessary. The students don’t need to know the songs in advance. And the lyrics are included in the slides and videos.
Jason normally selects songs according to your students’ ages and levels. However, if you are familiar with his material, you are welcome to request specific songs for your workshop.
